christmas with clay

Gifts from my thoughtful boyfriend.

1. Ear picker. This gift fulfills a wish and allows me to win an argument. I’ve been trying to convince him to allow me to pick his ears for a long time. When I was young my mom would pick my ears and I found so much pleasure in it that I would drool. I just want to pick Clay’s ears okay? 

2. A framed map was made by Clay. Decoration for my new apartment when I move. A framed map of Guatemala and Banff side by side, two places on my list of places to visit. Let’s run away! (How thoughtful is he??? TEARS.)

3. A gift certificate to take ball room dancing classes. We’ve only been once. I’ve been wanting to get good at it with Clay. Recently I had a dream where we were amazing dancers, and broke out into a dance at a really inappropriate time. So this is one step towards making that into a reality. 

Out of control gift opening. I got him a keyboard, since he has been meaning to learn the piano. That was one of his new years resolutions for 2011. I gave him his first lesson last night.
