weekend
This weekend was slower. Not one adventure after another but centered around meals and conversation and time in my room. It was restful. And I loved it.
On Friday night I went climbing with Clay, ate Sushi Island to-go and promptly fell asleep. Saturday had WINGs in the morning and Veggie Grill with the GGs for lunch.

Awkward picture in the parking lot of the Grove’s farmers market.
In the afternoon I had refractive surgery (lasik #2) to fix my undercorrected eyes. While waiting I read Gary’s “Sacred Marriage” which I had stopped reading for a while. I listened to multiple discs of Felicity while my eyes recovered. Sunday had my first post-op check-up then lunch at Mitsuwa with PCC friends. Had the best bowl of Japanese ramen of my life (spicy miso ramen with pork). Went to LFC then Superbowl party at Casa de Chocosalem. I was falling asleep due to food coma by the third quarter but thankfully things picked up towards the end of the game. Clay and I went back to the trailer, watched an episode of Felicity and talked about the future. That was my favorite.

Gwendolyn and Polly are doing well.

Update on the daisies. Only the strong shall survive.
